Our school had a fantastic and animated World Book Day recently. Some students were unrecognisable dressed up as their favourite characters. The costumes were brilliant. Dog Man is a firm favourite this year. Hogwarths' characters are forever popular. The Lorax done by Mohammed in 2nd class was ON POINT! Manga characters and a Goku from Japanese fiction were very visual. Princesses, Superheroes and Fairies are here to stay!

Staff and students were completely immersed in the magic and imagination of reading. Prizes were given out to the bookmark and book cover competition winners. The assemblies ran smoothly thanks to Ms Burns who was one of Oliver Jeffers crayons. The day was gloriously warm, so the senior classes shared the joy of reading with the junior classes outside. Every page turned that day was a new adventure waiting as the love for stories filled the MNS. Until next year, keep reading!
