Mosque Construction Exhibition
25th Jun 2026
Dear Members of Our Muslim Community,
We are delighted to share the wonderful success of our recent Mosque Construction Exhibition. This activity, part of our Arts Education programme, encouraged our children to explore creativity, imagination, and cultural appreciation by building their own mosque models.
The response from our children and families was truly heartwarming. We received approximately 25 outstanding entries in each age category: the Infants Band, Middle Classes Band, and Older Classes Band. The standard of work was exceptionally high, making it impossible for our independent judge from Islamic Relief Ireland to select just one winner in any category.
In line with our school’s commitment to nurturing creativity, building confidence, and promoting wellbeing, we have decided to award a special medal to every single entry. Each child’s mosque is precious and unique, and we want every participant to feel proud of their achievement.
Our judge carefully examined each model and assigned a medal category that recognises the creativity, effort, and dedication shown by each child.
We believe this approach honours the true spirit of art — celebrating creativity for its own sake and ensuring that no child’s effort goes unrecognised.
A heartfelt thank you to all the children who participated and to their parents for the love and support shown throughout this project. Your enthusiasm has made this exhibition truly special.
May Allah bless all our children and continue to guide them on their path of learning and creativity.
