Dear Parents
We encouraged families to attend the creative, innovation, inventive and hands-on making Dublin Maker STEAM event at Leopardstown Racecourse last summer. It is a FREE, accessible to all and an excellent event.
They are currently looking for 'makers' to join the line-up if any parents, siblings or our students have creations and projects they would love to exhibit. There is no minimum age for the creator asauming adult accompaniment is provided. The projects do not need to be completed as they encourage work-in-progress and hobbyists creations as well.
The closing date to apply is April 20th 2026**
However, if you have an amazing idea, that you think they shouldn’t miss out on – you can still fill in the form and they will be in touch!
Online application:
Please read the full communication below. We strongly encourage participation if possible.
We wish anyone in our school community the best of luck should you participate.
We will send our communication in the summer months about attending this year's Dublin Makers event.
We are super excited to announce that Dublin Maker is back again in 2026!
This year’s festival will take place on Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd of August at Leopardstown Racecourse, and we are delighted to be returning to this fantastic venue.
It has been a wonderful home for Dublin Maker in 2025, and we are excited to see what we can do with the place now in 2026. You can read all about last year's Makers here:

Dublin Maker will once again take place over two full days, giving makers even more opportunities to showcase their projects, meet visitors, and share what they love doing.
As always, the first step in preparing for Dublin Maker is launching our Open Call for Makers, which is now live. You can read all about it here:
